أحاطَ/ أحاطَ بـ يُحيط، أحِطْ، إحاطةً، فهو مُحيط، والمفعول مُحاط

حاطَه؛ حفظه وتعهّده بجلب ما ينفعه ورفع ما يضرّه، كلأه ورعاه

• مات على كفره
• أُحيط بفلان : قُتِل.

🇬🇧 Translation:

• died in disbelief
• Uḥīṭa bi-fulān: he was killed.

حاطُوا به؛ أحدقُوا به

🇬🇧 Translation:

they surrounded it; besieged it

علِمه، أدركه من جميع نواحيه

🇬🇧 Translation:

to know it, grasp it from all aspects

• أحاط الأمرَ بالكتمان : أخفاه عن النّاس أو تعهَّده بالكتمان
• أحاط به علمًا : ألمّ به إلمامًا شاملاً
• أحاطه عِلْمًا بالأمر : أعلمه به
• مُحاطٌ بالغموض : تكتنفُه الأسرار، مبهم غير واضح.

• Aḥāṭa al-amra bi-al-kitmān: he concealed it from people or kept it secret
• Aḥāṭa bihi ‘ilman: he had comprehensive knowledge of it
• Aḥāṭahu ‘ilman bi-al-amr: he informed him about the matter
• Muḥāṭun bi-al-ghumūḍ: shrouded in mystery, vague and unclear.
