انفلق الحجرُ

مُطاوع فلَقَ : انشقّ

🇬🇧 Translation:

It split (passive/reflexive of falaqa): it cracked open.

" دقَّ مِسمارًا في الخشبة فانفلقت
{فَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنِ اضْرِبْ بِعَصَاكَ الْبَحْرَ فَانْفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍ كَالطَّوْدِ الْعَظِيمِ} "

🇬🇧 Translation:

" He hammered a nail into the wood and it split
{Then We inspired Moses, 'Strike the sea with your staff,' and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain} "
