مُطاوع قادَ : لان وضَعُفَ أمامه، أو أذعن واستسلم له، خضع وذلَّ

🇬🇧 Translation:

compliant to qāda: softened and weakened before it, or submitted and surrendered to it, yielded and humbled himself

الرَّأي العامّ المُنقاد : الرَّأي الذي تمثّله الأكثريّة السّاحقة من جمهور الأمِّيِّين وغيرهم من الذين نالوا قدرًا ضئيلاً من الثقافة، وهؤلاء يُؤمنون بكلّ ما يُشاع أو يُنشر ولا يحاولون التفكير فيما يحتويه من صواب أو خطأ أو حقّ أو باطل.

The guided/submissive public opinion: The opinion represented by the overwhelming majority of the illiterate public and others who have attained a meager amount of culture, and these believe in everything rumored or published and do not try to think about what it contains of right or wrong or truth or falsehood.
