أُولُمْبيَّة

(رض) ألعاب رياضيّة دوليّة تُنظم كلَّ أربع سنوات، وتنتقل من مدينةٍ إلى أخرى في كلِّ مرّة، واحتفظت باسمها الَّذي كان يُطلقه عليها قدماءُ اليونان منذ سنة 776ق. م؛ إذ كانوا يقيمونها في سهل أولمبيا.

(Sports) International athletic games organized every four years, moving from one city to another each time. They retained the name given to them by the ancient Greeks since 776 BC, as they used to hold them in the plain of Olympia.
