أوطنَ/ أوطنَ بـ يُوطن، إيطانًا، فهو مُوطِن، والمفعول مُوطَن

اتّخذه وَطنًا

He adopted it as a homeland "Awṭana al-balad (He made the country his homeland)".

مَهَّدها له، ورضّاها به

🇬🇧 Translation:

He prepared himself for it and reconciled himself to it "Awṭantu nafsī ‘alā khushūnat al-‘aysh (I accustomed myself to a hard life)".

أقام به

🇬🇧 Translation:

He resided in the place "Yuṭinu al-insānu ḥaythu yajidu rizqahū (A person resides where he finds his livelihood)".
