نقاب أو حِجاب أو غِطاء للوجه، تستر به المرأةُ وجهَها

🇬🇧 Translation:

Veil, niqab, or face covering used by women to conceal their faces.

خِرقة صغيرة فيها ثقبان للعينَيْن تُوضع على رءوس الخيل.

🇬🇧 Translation:

A small cloth with two holes for the eyes placed on the heads of horses.

" تحت البراقع سُمٌّ ناقع [مثل] : يُضرب في عدم الانخداع بالمظهر الخارجيّ "

🇬🇧 Translation:

"Beneath the veils lies potent venom [Proverb]: Said regarding not being deceived by outward appearances."
