483) قبل الميلاد، وهي أقرب إلى فلسفة الحياة منها إلى الدِّين حيث لا تؤمن بإله، وتقوم على التَّجرُّد والزُّهد تخلُّصًا من الشهوات والألم وطريقًا إلى الفناء التَّام، وتقول بالتَّناسخ ومبدأ السببيَّة، وتنكر الرُّوحيَّة والبعث والحساب، وهي من أكثر الديانات انتشارًا في الهند والشرق الأقصى.

(Philosophy and Sufism) A religion founded by one of the sages of India, Buddha (564
483 BC). It is closer to a philosophy of life than a religion as it does not believe in a God, and is based on detachment and asceticism to rid oneself of desires and suffering as a path to total annihilation, asserts reincarnation and the principle of causality, and denies spirituality, resurrection, and accountability. It is one of the most widely spread religions in India and the Far East.
