ذاقَ يَذُوق، ذُقْ، ذَوْقًا وذَوَاقًا وذَوَقانًا، فهو ذائق، والمفعول مَذوق

اختبر طعمَه، وضعَه على طرف لسانه ليختبر طَعْمَه

• لا يرتاح
• ما ذاق طعمَ النَّوم/ ما ذاق في عينه نومًا : ظلّ مؤرَّقًا.

🇬🇧 Translation:

• Not relaxed
• Did not taste the taste of sleep / Did not taste sleep in his eye : Remained sleepless.

جرَّبه، واختبره

🇬🇧 Translation:

Experienced it, tried it.

• ذاق الأمرَّيْن : ذاق الجُوع والعُرْي، تعرّض لصعوبات كثيرة
• ذُقْت فلانًا/ ذُقْت ما عند فلان : خبرته وعرفت حقيقتَه.

🇬🇧 Translation:

• Tasted the two bitter things : Tasted hunger and nakedness, was exposed to many difficulties
• I tasted so-and-so / I tasted what so-and-so has : I experienced him and knew his reality.

قاساه، وأحسَّ به

🇬🇧 Translation:

Suffered it, felt it.

ذاق منه الذُّلّ : عانى من ظلمه وإهانته.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Tasted humiliation from him : Suffered from his oppression and insult.

جامعها.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Had intercourse with her.

مسَّها.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Touched her.
