دِماغ

(شر) حشو الرَّأس من أعصابٍ ونحوها، وفيه المخّ والمخيخ والنُّخاع المستطيل.

جعله يغيِّر رأيَه، أو يتردَّد فيه.

🇬🇧 Translation:

(Figurative) Made him change his mind, or hesitate about it.

(شر) جليدة رقيقة تحيط بالدِّماغ.

🇬🇧 Translation:

(Anatomy) A thin membrane surrounding the brain (meninges).

(حس) العقل الإلكترونيّ؛ جهاز إلكترونيّ يشتمل على مجموعة من الآلات تنوب عن الدِّماغ البشريّ في حلّ أعقد العمليَّات الحسابيَّة.

(Computing) Electronic brain; an electronic device comprising a set of machines that replaces the human brain in solving the most complex arithmetic operations (computer).

(طب) تلف وفقدان وظائف الدِّماغ، ويُستدلّ عليه بتوقُّف التنفّس وقدرات حيويّة أخرى وعدم الاستجابة للمنبّهات وغياب النشاط العضليّ وثبات مرسمة موجات الدِّماغ لفترة مُعيّنة من الوقت.

(Medicine) Damage and loss of brain functions, indicated by the cessation of breathing and other vital capacities, unresponsiveness to stimuli, absence of muscle activity, and a flat electroencephalogram for a certain period of time (brain death).
