دِيكيّ

(طب) مرض مُعدٍ يصيب الأطفالّ، عبارة عن رشح وسعال جافّ حادّ، يأخذ شكل نوبات يعقب كلاًّ منها شهقة تشبه شهقة الدِّيك.

(Medicine) A contagious disease affecting children, consisting of a runny nose and severe dry cough, taking the form of spasms, each followed by an inhalation resembling the gasp of a rooster (Whooping cough / Pertussis).
