Overcame him, defeated him.

فاز في السِّباق

انتصر، غَلَب، ظفِر

🇬🇧 Translation:

Triumphed, won, succeeded.

فاز من العقاب

نجا منه

🇬🇧 Translation:

Escaped from it, survived.

" فاز بجائزة الدولة التقديرية/ التشجيعية
{وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا} : سعد ونجا ونال غاية مطلوبه
{أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ هُمُ الْفَائِزُونَ} : مقرّبون، مكرَمون، ناجون من عذاب النّار
{إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا} "

" He won the State Appreciation/Encouragement Award
{And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment} : achieved happiness, escaped, and attained the utmost of his desire
{The companions of Paradise are the attainers} : drawn near, honored, saved from the torment of the Fire
{Indeed, for the righteous is attainment} "
