ج أغصان وغُصون

غُصْن الشَّجرة

فرعها، ما تشعَّب من ساقها، دقيقه وغليظه

Its branch, that which branches out from its trunk, thin or thick

🇬🇧 Translation:

A symbol of peace.

غُصْن ورقيّ

غُصْن أو جزء من السّاق شبيه بالورقة.

🇬🇧 Translation:

A branch or part of the stem resembling a leaf.

غُصْن التَّطعيم

(رع) غصن له عُقْدة واحدة على الأقل يقطع فتطعم به الشَّجرة.

🇬🇧 Translation:

(Agriculture) A scion; a twig having at least one bud, cut to graft onto a tree.

غُصْن الحَمْل

(نت) غصن يُقلَّم ويترك عليه برعمان أو ثلاثة براعم للإثمار.

🇬🇧 Translation:

(Botany) A fruiting branch; a branch that is pruned leaving two or three buds for fruit production.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Verily, branches, if you straighten them, they become straight: an encouragement to discipline in youth"
