هال

(نت) جنس نباتات طبيّة عطريَّة، بريَّة زراعيَّة، من فصيلة الزّنجبيليّات، بذورها تدعى حَبّ الهال، تُستخرج منها أدهان عطريّة طيّارة كانت من أشهر الطُّيوب المستعملة في التَّحنيط، تضاف حبوبُه إلى القهوة في بعض بلدان الشَّرق، ويعرف بالحبَّهان.

(Botany) A genus of aromatic, wild and cultivated medicinal plants of the Zingiberaceae family, whose seeds are called cardamom (حبّ الهال), from which volatile aromatic oils are extracted, formerly one of the most famous perfumes used in embalming; its seeds are added to coffee in some Eastern countries, and it is known as habban.

حبَّهان؛ بذور جافّة كاملة النمُّوّ تحتوي على زيت طيّار، تعطي للطَّعام مذاقًا خاصًّا، وتُستعمل طاردة للغازات
