أسلوب للمدح مركَّب من حبَّ (فعل ماض جامد) وذا (اسم إشارة فاعل له) ، وهو يلزم هذه الصورة في كلّ حال، يُستعمل مع المذكَّر والمؤنَّث في الإفراد والتثنية والجمع، عكسه (لا حبّذا) الذي يُستعمل للذمّ

An expression of praise composed of (habba
an invariable past verb) and (dha
a demonstrative pronoun acting as the doer), which remains in this fixed form under all circumstances, used for both masculine and feminine in singular, dual, and plural forms. Its antonym is (la habba dha), which is used for censure.
