🇬🇧 Translation:

One of the prophets, the eldest son of Abraham the Friend of Allah (peace be upon them), and the patriarch of the Arabized Arabs. He settled in Makkah with his mother Hagar the Egyptian when he was a child, helped his father raise the foundations of the Kaaba, and died in Makkah, being buried in Al-Hijr next to his mother's grave.

يضرب به المثل في الصِّدق لأنّ الله أثنى عليه بصِدْق الوعد.

Proverbial for truthfulness and keeping promises, as God praised him for his faithfulness to his promises.

" {وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صَادِقَ الْوَعْدِ} "
