كبَسَ/ كبَسَ على يَكبِس، كَبْسًا، فهو كابِس، والمفعول مَكْبوس

حَشَره، ضغَطه بقوّة ليقلّل حجمَه

• - ضماد كابس : يستعمل للشدّ
• كبَس البِئرَ : ردمها بالتُّراب
• كبَس السنة بيوم : زاد فيها يومًا.

• - damad kabis (Compression bandage: used for binding)
• kabaasa al-bi'r (He filled the well with dirt)
• kabaasa al-sana bi-yawm (He added a day to the year / intercalated).
