خلَفَ/ خلَفَ على يَخلُف، خَلْفًا، فهو خالِف، والمفعول مَخْلوف

صار خَلْفه، جاء بعده، حلَّ مَحلَّه

Became behind him, came after him, took his place

أخذه من خلفه

🇬🇧 Translation:

Took him from behind

ذكره به في غير حضرته.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Mentioned him in his absence (behind his back).

عوَّضك (تقال لمن فقد عزيزًا لا يُستعاض عنه) .

🇬🇧 Translation:

May Allah replace him for you / compensate you (said to someone who lost a dear person who cannot be replaced).
