(نت) نبات متسلِّق من الفصيلة القرعيَّة، ثماره خياريّة الشّكل مستطيلة، نسيجها خشن، يُصنع منه اللِّيف المعروف.

(Botany) A climbing plant from the gourd family (Cucurbitaceae), its fruits are cucumber-shaped and elongated, with a coarse texture, from which the well-known loofah sponge is made.
(نت) نبات عشبيّ من الفصيلة القلقاسيَّة، فيه أنواع برّيَّة، وأنواع تُزرع للزِّينة.

(نت) نبات يخرج له ورقات خضراء جعدة تنبسط على الأرض، وتخرج له قصبة من وسطها، وفي رأسها ثمرة، له بصل يتداوى الناسُ به، واحدته لوفة.
