مادِّيَّة

(سف) مذهب فلسفيّ يُسَلّم بوجود المادّة وحدها وبها يفسّر الكون والمعرفة والسُّلوك

مذهب من يُنكر وجود المادّة ويقصر الوجودَ على الأذهان

Immaterialism; the doctrine of those who deny the existence of matter and restrict existence to minds.

نظريّة ماركسيّة تعتبر الأوضاعَ الماديّة الاقتصاديّة هي الأساس الذي تنشأ عليه الأوضاعُ والأفكارُ الاجتماعيّة والسياسيّة.

Historical materialism; a Marxist theory considering material economic conditions as the foundation upon which social and political conditions and ideas arise.

الفلسفة الماركسيَّة وتتلخّص في اعتبار العالم كلاًّ مكوَّنًا من مادّة متحرِّكة وحركة المادّة فيه تصاعديّة متطوِّرة تموت فيها ظاهرة لتحيا أخرى.

Dialectical materialism; Marxist philosophy summarized as viewing the world as a whole composed of moving matter, and the movement of matter within it is progressive and evolving where one phenomenon dies for another to live.
