Root: م د ر- طين لزج متماسك، القطعة منه مَدَرة. 2
- حَضَر ويقابله بدو

سكان البيوت المبنيّة، خلاف أهل الوبَر وهم البدو سكان الخِيام.

Inhabitants of built houses, as opposed to the people of Wabar who are Bedouins living in tents.
