اسم استفهام مبنيّ على السكون، يُستفهم به عن العاقل مذكّرًا أو مؤنّثًا، مفردًا أو غير مفرد، وتدخل عليه حروف الجرّ فيقال : عمَّنْ، ممَّن، فيمن … إلخ
