حرف جرّ مبنيّ على الضمّ، يدخل على اسم الزمان فيكون بمعنى (مِنْ {إن كان الزمان ماضيًا، وبمعنى} في) إن كان الزمان حاضرًا، وبمعنى (من) و (إلى) إن كان الزمان معدودًا
🇬🇧 Translation:
A preposition (harf jar) built with a dammah, which precedes a noun of time to mean 'since' if the time is past, 'in' if the time is present, and both 'from' and 'to' if the time duration is countable
ظرف في محلّ نصب إذا تلاه جملة فعليّة أو اسميّة وتكون الجملة بعده في موضع جرّ بالإضافة إليه
🇬🇧 Translation:
An adverb (zharf) in the accusative case when followed by a verbal or nominal sentence, with the subsequent sentence being in the genitive case as an annex (mudhaf ilaih)
اسم يعرب مبتدأ إذا دخل على اسم مرفوع، وقيل ظرف زمان خبر، والمرفوع بعده مبتدأ مؤخَّر

A noun parsed as a subject (mubtada') when preceding a nominative noun, though some say it is an adverb of time serving as a predicate, with the following nominative noun being a delayed subject
