مُسَمَّط

(عر) ما يُؤتى فيه بأشعار مُقفّاة بقافية، ثمّ يُؤتى بعدها بشطر مقفّى بقافية مخالفة ويستمرّ على هذا النَّهج مع التزام القافية المخالفة في القصيدة حتى تنتهي.

(Prosody) A poem in which rhyming verses are brought with one rhyme, then followed by a hemistich rhymed with a different rhyme, and this pattern continues while adhering to the different rhyme throughout the poem until it ends (Cross-rhymed poem/Musammat).
