(نت) شجرٌ شائك من الفصيلة السِّدريَّة، وتُطلق الكلمة أيضا على ثمر ذلك الشَّجر، وهو ثَمَرٌ أحمر حلو لذيذ الطّعم زيتونيّ الشكل والقدّ يُؤكَل عند النضج.

(Botany) A thorny tree of the Buckthorn family (Ziziphus / Jujube). The term is also applied to the fruit of that tree, which is a red, sweet, delicious fruit, olive-shaped and sized, eaten when ripe.
