ج أنبياء : صاحب النبوة المُخبر عن الله، وهو إنسان يصطفيه اللهُ من خلقه ليوحى إليه بدين أو شريعة سواء كُلِّف بالإبلاغ أم لا، وتخفّف الهمزُة فيقال نبيّ

Plural: أنبياء : One possessing prophethood who reports about God, a human being chosen by God from His creation to be inspired with a religion or law, whether commissioned to convey it or not, and the hamza is softened to be pronounced (nabi)
