(طب) حبل عصبيّ متّصل بالدِّماغ يجري داخل العمود الفقريّ وتتفرَّع منه الأعصابُ الشَّوكيّة وظيفته نقل الإحساسات بين أطراف الجسم والمراكز العُليا منها وإليها، إلى جانب كونه مركزًا للأفعال المنعكسة العصبيّة.

(نت) اللُّبّ المركزيّ في سوق النباتات ذوات الفلقتين وجذورها.
