جج نُموس وأنماس : (حن) جنس حيوانات من الثديّيات اللَّواحم من الفصيلة الزّباديَّة، في حجم القطّ الأهليّ، قصير القوائم، حادّ الأظافر طويل الذّيل، أغبرُ اللَّون، رأسه صغير مخروطيّ الشَّكل وأذناه صغيرتان مستديرتان وعيناه حمراوان، يقطن المناطقَ الحارّة، قوتُه الأفاعي والجرذان.
