(فز) نُيوترون؛ أحد الجسيمات الدَّاخلة في تكوين نواة الذرّة ما عدا ذرّة الهيدروجين الخفيف، ولا شحنة كهربائيّة فيه، وكتلته تساوي تقريبًا كتلة ذرة الهيدروجين.
