ج قيعان وقيعَة : أرض مستوية عمّا يحيط بها من الجبال والآكام، تنصبّ إليها مياهُ الأمطار فتمسكها ثمّ تُنبت العُشب
🇬🇧 Translation:
Plural: qī‘ān and qī‘ah. Flat land lower than what surrounds it of mountains and hills, where rainwater collects, holds, and then sprouts vegetation.

- " {وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَسَرَابٍ بِقِيعَةٍ}
- {وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْجِبَالِ فَقُلْ يَنْسِفُهَا رَبِّي نَسْفًا. فَيَذَرُهَا قَاعًا صَفْصَفًا} "

- " {And those who disbelieved, their deeds are like a mirage in a lowland}
