ج أَقْبِيَة : بناء مستدير تحت الأرض تُخزّن فيه البضائعُ القابلة للتَّلف كالجبن والزّبد والفواكه وغيرها لانخفاض درجة حرارته عن مستوى الحرارة فوق الأرض.

Plural: aqbiyah; a subterranean circular building where perishable goods such as cheese, butter, fruits, and others are stored because its temperature is lower than the temperature above ground (cellar/vault/basement).
