قضَّبَ يقضِّب، تقضيبًا، فهو مُقَضِّب، والمفعول مُقَضَّب

(رع) قطَع بعض أغصانها إمّا لجعل الشَّجرة على الشكل المرغوب فيه، وإمّا لتنظيم الإثمار أو الحَثّ على زيادته.

(Agriculture) He pruned some of the tree's branches either to shape the tree as desired, or to regulate or stimulate fruit production.
