قَرَه جُوز، قرقوز، دُمًى صغيرة من الورق المقوَّى أو الخشب الرقيق يُحرِّكها إنسان مُخْتفٍ وينطقُ بما تقول، فتُرى كأنّها تتحرَّك وتتكلّم، وتسمَّى أيضًا : كَرَكُوز أو الدُّمى المتحرِّكة.

Qarah juz, qaraqoz, small puppets made of stiff paper or thin wood moved by a hidden person who speaks their lines, making them appear to move and speak, also called Karakoz or marionettes.
