قسَمَ يقسِم، قَسْمًا، فهو قاسِم، والمفعول مَقْسوم

فرّقهم وشتّتهم

وزّعه وأعطى كلَّ فردٍ نصيبَه

To distribute it and give each individual his share

جزّأها إلى جزأين أو أكثر، شقّها

🇬🇧 Translation:

To divide it into two or more parts, to split it

(جب) أوجد عددًا ثالثًا إذا ضُرب في الثّاني حصل الأوّل.

🇬🇧 Translation:

To find a third number which, when multiplied by the second, yields the first (i.e., division).
