قَطُّ

ظرف زمان لاستغراق الماضي، مبنيّ على الضَّمّ ويختصّ بالنَّفي
🇬🇧 Translation:
An adverb of time encompassing the past, indeclinable with dammah, and specifically used with negation.
قَطَّ قَطَطْتُ، يَقُطّ، اقْطُطْ/ قُطَّ، قَطًّا وقُطُوطًا، فهو قاطّ، والمفعول مَقْطوط (qt-2) قَطْ (qt-3) قَطّ (qt-4) قِطّ (qt-6) قطوط (qtwt)

Example / Citation:

  • " ما فعلتُ هذا قَطُّ : لم أفْعَلْهُ على الإطلاق
  • ما رأيته قطُّ : فيما مضى من الزمان "
