رَبَّ رَبَيْتُ، يَرُبّ، ارْبُبْ/ رُبَّ، ربًّا، فهو رابّ، والمفعول مَرْبوب ورَبيب

وَلِيَه وتعهَّده بما يغذِّيه وينمِّيه ويؤدّبُه.

خفَقه وقلّبَه بشِدَّة.

سادَهم وكان فوقهم.

Ruled over them and was above them.
