اتّباع الشَّخْص نظامًا غذائيًّا معيَّنًا فترة معيَّنة حتَّى يتخلَّص من الوزن الزَّائد، وقد يصاحب ذلك بعض التمرينات الرِّياضيّة أو بعض الأدوية
