ساقى يساقِي، ساقِ، مُساقاةً، فهو مُساقٍ، والمفعول مُساقًى

سقاه، جعله يشرب

Gave him a drink, made him drink (To give a drink).

(رع) دفع شجرَه وأرضَه إليه واستعمله فيها ليعمِّرها ويسقيها ويقوم على إصلاحها على أن يكون له سهمٌ معلوم من الرِّيع والمحصول.

🇬🇧 Translation:

(Agriculture) Handed over his trees and land to him and employed him in it to cultivate it, water it, and attend to its improvement on the condition that he has a known share of the yield and crop (Sharecropping contract for irrigation/Musaqah).
