What leads to the occurrence of a matter or a result, that by which another thing is reached (Cause/Reason).

اتَّصل بمقوّماتها
بسبب/ لهذا السبب : نتيجة لـ
تعاطى الأسباب : أخذ وأعطى طلبًا لتحصيل ما يحتاج إليه أمر المعيشة
تقطَّعت بهم الأسباب : أعيتهم الحِيَل، ضلّوا
السبب المباشر : الفاعل الذي يصدر عنه الفعل بلا واسطة
قطَع بفلان السَّبب : مات
لأسباب صحِّيَّة : لدواعٍ صحِّيّة
ما لي إليك سبب : طريق
ولذلك السبب : من أجل ذلك.

the causes were cut off from them: they were at their wits' end, they went astray
direct cause: the agent from whom the act originates without an intermediary

حَبْل

Rope (Rope).

قرابة ومودّة، علاقة وصِلة

🇬🇧 Translation:

Kinship and affection, relationship and connection (Kinship/Connection).

انقطعت علاقاتهم.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Their relationships were cut off (Cut off ties).

(عر) حرفان، متحرِّك فساكن أو متحرِّكان، فالأوّل سَبَبٌ خفيفٌ، والثّاني سَبَبٌ ثقيلٌ.
