شتَمَ يَشتُم ويَشتِم، شَتْمًا، فهو شاتم، والمفعول مَشْتوم

سبَّه، عابه، وصفه بما فيه نقصٌ وازدراء

Insulted him, reviled him, described him with what involves flaw and contempt (To insult/Abuse).

الشاتمُ والذي بلَّغ عنه الشتمَ.

The insulter and the one who conveyed the insult (Insulter).
