  • - Satan's footsteps: his ways that he takes
  • A devil rode him: he got angry and did not care about the consequence
  • The poet's devil: a jinn that inspires him with poetry
  • The devil of the desert: thirst
  • As if it were the head of a devil: a simile intended for uglification
  • His devil was removed from him: he held fast to forbearance
  • Devil child: an imp fond of annoyance and slight harm.
شيطنَ يشيطن، شيطنةً، فهو مُشَيْطِن (shytn-3) تشيطنَ يَتشيطن، تشيطُنًا، فهو مُتشيطِن (tshytn-3) شَيْطانيّ (shytany-3) شيطانيَّة (shytanyh-3)
