- قُبَّة الصَّخرة (Dome of the Rock): An octagonal dome built by Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan over the sacred rock in Jerusalem
- قَلْبٌ من الصَّخْر: Hard, petrified heart
- يستنبط الدَّم من الصَّخر / يستنبط الدَّم كناطح صخرة: Attempting the impossible
- ينحت من صخر: Exerting oneself, trying something difficult.
