طين يابس لم تصبه النّار، أو طين مخلوط برمل

(جو) صخر طينيّ يحتوي على مادّة لاحمة هي السِّليكا، يتميّز بشدّة لزوجته عند البلل.
🇬🇧 Translation:
(Geology) A clay rock containing a binding material which is silica, characterized by high stickiness when wet (shale).
