نبيّ من أنبياء بني إسرائيل، ورد ذكرُه في القرآن الكريم، وهو ابن داوود عليه السلام، مَلَك بعد أبيه، وآتاه الله النّبوّة، وسخّر له الشَّياطين والرِّيح، وعلَّمه منطق الطَّير

Solomon: A prophet among the Children of Israel, mentioned in the Holy Quran. He was the son of David (peace be upon him), ruled after his father, and God granted him prophethood, subjugated the jinn and the wind for him, and taught him the speech of birds.
