ج صُنُوج : (سق) صفيحة مدوّرة من النُّحاس الأصفر تُضرب على أخرى مثلها للطَّرب، بعضها يثبت في أطراف الدُّفّ أو في أصابع الرَّاقصة ليضرب عليها عند الطَّرب

Pl. صُنُوج: (Musical Instrument) A circular plate of yellow brass struck against another for musical entertainment, some of which are fixed to the edges of a tambourine or on the dancer's fingers to be struck for rhythm.
