سُقْدة

(حن) طائر من القواطع صغير الحجم، رشيق الجسم له منقار صلب أسود يلتقط به الحشرات، ظهره رماديّ وأطراف ريشه بُنِّيّة، والبطن أبيضُ والصَّدر والعجز والذَّيل والأقدام حُمْر، يستوطن أوربا وسيبيرية.

(Zoology) A small migratory bird, slender-bodied, with a hard black beak for pecking insects, its back is gray and the tips of its feathers are brown, the belly is white and the breast, rump, tail, and feet are red, endemic to Europe and Siberia (Bullfinch).
