(كم) حمض بلوريّ نصف شفّاف عديم اللون، يشتقّ من تخمير الكربوهيدرات أو من عصائر الليمون أو الأناناس، يستخدم في تحضير السترات، والمنكهات، وموادّ تلميع وصقل المعادن.
