ثوَى بـ/ ثوَى في يَثوِي، اثْوِ، ثَواءً وثُوِيًّا، فهو ثاوٍ،

ثوى بالمكان/ ثوى في المكان: أقام به واستقر

To dwell in a place and settle down in it.

{وَمَا كُنْتَ ثَاوِيًا فِي أَهْلِ مَدْيَنَ تَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَاتِنَا}

🇬🇧 Translation:

And you were not a dweller among the people of Madyan, reciting to them Our verses.
