تعقَّبَ يتعقَّب، تعقُّبًا، فهو مُتعقِّب، والمفعول مُتعقَّب

تتبَّعه واقتفى أثرَه، طارده ولاحقه، أخذه بذنبٍ كان منه

To track him down and follow his trace, chase and pursue him, take him to task for a sin he committed

سأل غير مَنْ كان سأله أوّل مَرَّة.
