تصاغرَ يتصاغر، تصاغُرًا، فهو مُتصاغِر

سلك سلوكَ الصِّغار وفعَل فِعْلَهم

تحاقر وتضاءل، صار ذليلاً حقيرًا

Felt contemptible and shrank, became lowly and despicable (To shrink/grovel/be humbled).

صارت صغيرة الشَّأن ذُلاًّ ومهانة.

🇬🇧 Translation:

It became of little importance due to humiliation and degradation.
