تصريحيَّة

الصورة البيانيّة التي ذكر فيها المشبّه به وحُذِف المشبَّه كقول المتنبي : فلم أرَ قبل مَنْ مشى البحرُ نحوَه … ولا رجلاً قامت تعانقه الأُسْدُ، فالمشبّه المحذوف (الرجل الكريم) والمشبّه به المذكور (البحر) .

The stylistic image in which the object of comparison (musyabbah bih) is mentioned and the subject (musyabbah) is omitted, such as Al-Mutanabbi's saying: 'So I did not see before the one towards whom the sea walked... nor a man whom lions stood to embrace,' where the omitted subject is (the noble man) and the mentioned object of comparison is (the sea).
